Job Summary:
Oviedo Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of the patient care team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients with various medical conditions.

In this role, you will perform and document patient assessments, conduct diagnostic procedures, and administer respiratory care therapies. You will also assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital that serves east Seminole County and surrounding communities. We offer a full range of healthcare services, including surgical inpatient units, intensive care, emergency care, medical cardiology, telemetry, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women's services, comprehensive diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary services, and cardiac catheterization.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a State Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification through the NBRC and completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent). Additionally, you must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of employment start date, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of employment start date, and Neonate Resuscitate within six months of employment start date.

Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000-$85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that actual salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.
