Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Hebron Brick Supply, Co. As an employee-owned company, you will become a part-owner and be part of a rich history dating back to 1904.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for industrial controls and manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and optimize kiln and dryer operations, making program changes as needed.
  • Ensure efficient operation of kiln and dryer equipment, including actuators, fans, solenoids, and thermocouples.
  • Oversee the installation of control systems on new and existing equipment.
  • Make programming changes to maintain and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Responsible for upkeep of all electrical and electronic components, including programming, spare parts, maintenance, and updates.
  • Perform tests and analyze results to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with employees and equipment to improve working conditions and efficiency.
  • Exercise outstanding communication, leadership, and personnel management skills.

Requirements:

  • Electrical experience and knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical plant processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and personnel management skills.
  • Proficiency in software such as Allen Bradley Factory Talk, RSLogix 500 & 5000, RSLinx, PanelBuilder32, DeviceNet, Fanuc Karel Software, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with equipment such as Fanuc Robotics, Allen Bradley Control Logix, PLC's, and PanelViews.
