Job Title: Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation therapy department.

About the Role:
  • As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians according to established standards and practices.
  • You will work under the administrative direction of the Radiation Oncology Operations Supervisor and clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer or other conditions requiring this type of treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and responses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Member in good standing of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed or licensure eligible as a Radiation Therapist in the State of Vermont.
  • 1 year experience in a Radiation Therapy clinic required.
Compensation:

$38.40 - $57.60 per hour.
