Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse II in our Transplant Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our dynamic team, working closely with RNs and RN coordinators to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to transplant patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.
  • Deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
  • Collaborate with the transplant team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest transplant care practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; Associate or Diploma degree in nursing with enrollment in an accredited BSN program within two years and successful completion within four years.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
