About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Indigo Real Estate. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our properties, ensuring they are clean, efficient, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance operations, including curb appeal, timely work request service, and quality turnover/make-ready schedule.
  • Assure all service requests are completed daily and perform effective emergency maintenance as required.
  • Manage and maintain all contracts and warranties, diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide effective leadership to Maintenance staff and prioritize training and educational opportunities for self and staff.
  • Create, implement, and track an effective system of preventative maintenance to optimize the usage and longevity of the property.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in property maintenance, minimum 2 as Supervisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (BA preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize numerous requests and incoming information to ensure an appropriate level of response and urgency is given to each.
  • Familiarity with advanced HVAC, elevator, fire suppression, and building management systems and operations.
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi or other property management software preferred.
  • Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
