Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Fresh Foods of Washington. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment, ensuring product quality, employee safety, and food safety standards are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate equipment in a safe manner in accordance with OEM guidelines.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance Tasks as assigned.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning and non-functioning equipment.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the Maintenance Shop, Electrical Room, Parts Room, and Production Floor in a clean and organized manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective line of communication between maintenance and operations, providing current and correct information to the operation's team on maintenance issues that relate to floor production.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, CMMS, Control System.
  • Physical Demands: Extensive walking and standing, vision/hearing, talking, repetitive motion (hands/wrists), climb and balance.
  • Education and Experience: Preferred 8-10 years of maintenance experience and advanced troubleshooting abilities, 2+ years of manufacturing experience; Food manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
