Position Title: Aircraft Maintenance Operations Manager

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Contract Type: Full Time - 12 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)

Role Summary: The Aircraft Maintenance Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing designated aircraft maintenance lines, utilizing production schedules, labor assessments, and financial data. This role encompasses the management of comprehensive projects related to the maintenance, preventive maintenance, or modification of aircraft. The manager ensures product quality while adhering to the regulatory requirements of the air carrier maintenance program and its inspection procedures manual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aligns maintenance initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Holds primary responsibility for the management of the Aircraft Maintenance program.
  • Collaborates with Quality Control to ensure that aircraft maintenance is executed in accordance with Federal Aviation, Manufacturer, Customer, and organizational standards.
  • Evaluates customer programs and FAA regulations to guarantee compliance.
  • Oversees the comprehensive maintenance, preventive maintenance, or modification of aircraft or components, ensuring safe return to service.
  • Facilitates effective communication regarding critical information, including operational updates, risk management, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO is required.
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance is necessary.
  • Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory.
