We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Venda Ravioli Inc. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food production, managing staff effectively, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement menus that meet our quality standards
- Lead a team of cooks to produce high-quality dishes
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely service and high-quality food
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation
- Foster a positive work environment and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Ensure timely ordering and inventory management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef
- Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations
- Familiarity with industry best practices and computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software)
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
