Associate Professor/Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor/Professor to serve as the Director of the Center for Vector-borne Infectious Disease Research. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in vector-borne infectious diseases and a proven track record of securing external funding.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a high-impact research program in vector-borne infectious diseases
- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in biology and related fields
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students and early-career researchers
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement research initiatives
- PhD in Biology, Vector Biology, Vector-borne Infectious Diseases, or a related field
- Strong research background in vector-borne infectious diseases
- Proven track record of securing external funding
- College/university teaching experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
- Minimum of 2-5 years of administrative experience
- Existing externally funded research in areas related to the Center for Vector-borne Infectious Disease Research
- Experience developing and leading successful partnerships with external partners
