Shipboard Cable Specialist III

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Shipboard Cable Specialist III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and assembling shipboard communication systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting
• Assembling connectors and Radio Frequency connections from drawings or data sheets
• Performing tests on new and existing connections using multi-meters and continuity testing using drawings or procedures as reference
Requirements
• High school diploma and at least two years of related experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel as required (up to 25%) and work in a shipyard environment
• Willingness to work at heights above 6ft
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability and willingness to wear all required PPE (ie: work boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection)
• Ability and willingness to work as a team
Preferred Qualifications
• Multi-pin connector building experience
• US Navy familiarity background
• RF cable building experience
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $26.07 per hour, based on the Department of Labor's wage rate. As a regular employee, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, health savings accounts, a 401(k) savings plan, disability coverage, life and accident insurance, an employee assistance program, a legal plan, and other perks.
