Job Overview

Infosys is in search of a
Group Client Partner within its Banking & Financial Services sector. This role entails overseeing sales strategies and pipelines, assisting the unit Business Development Managers (BDMs) by offering resources and navigating accounts to uncover diverse deal opportunities. The individual will be instrumental in fostering internal alignment and prioritization while actively pursuing larger-scale proposals. Additionally, the leader will provide support and review the preparation of proposals, outcomes, and account plans created by client partners, stepping in during escalations or as needed for account operations. It is essential to ensure that account growth aligns with strategic plans by evaluating these plans and positioning Infosys as a trusted partner within the designated accounts. Typically, Group Client Partners manage a portfolio exceeding $100M+.

  • Client Relationship Management and Business Development: Cultivate client relationships, manage a portfolio up to $100M+, and oversee the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.

Client Delivery Assurance:
Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders to guarantee fulfillment of commitments to clients.

Account Planning and Governance:
Develop comprehensive account plans, including necessary relationships, opportunities to pursue, pricing strategies, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education, along with 16+ years of experience, emphasizing strong sales, relationship management, and account management skills.
  • Extensive business development and project management experience.
  • Experience in the relevant industry or vertical.
  • Proven track record of engaging and building relationships with C-level client contacts.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Diverse experience in IT and business consulting engagements.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; sponsorship for this position is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree or foreign equivalent and 14+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific go-to-market solutions.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific business challenges and drivers.
  • Experience with Global Delivery Models.
  • Experience managing large, multi-location consulting engagement teams.
  • Demonstrated success as an Account Manager in a rapidly expanding client relationship.
