Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright/Rigger to join our team at Wayne Brothers, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work with industrial machinery and equipment, utilizing your mechanical aptitude and rigging knowledge to ensure safe and efficient installation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and assemble machinery, utilizing personal hand tooling and equipment.
  • Operate machinery rigging equipment and tooling, including dollies, jacks, lift trucks, and scissors lifts.
  • Read and execute blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to aid in the construction of complex systems.
  • Understand and work with complex material handling systems, equipment, motors, and alignment.
  • Utilize alignment and leveling tooling, such as Brunson, K&E, and Rotalign, to ensure accurate installation.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in the industry and in manufacturing facilities.
  • Willingness to safely complete tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Mechanical aptitude and computer literacy to operate alignment equipment.
  • Rigging knowledge and skill to assist with movements, as needed.

Working Conditions
  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
  • Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.
  • Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using appropriate fall protection requirements.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

Certifications and Licenses
  • Valid Driver's License - Preferred.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs as needed.
  • Must be able to go up and down on ladder, steps, or other lifts as needed.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours/day.
