Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team at HealthAlliance Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and recommending wound care treatment for inpatient and outpatient patients, including critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend wound care treatment for inpatient and outpatient patients
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure quality care
  • Develop and implement effective time management skills
  • Participate in development of plan of care with interdisciplinary team
  • Communicate with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions
  • Act as clinical resource and mentor for staff
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed staff
  • Manage resources to promote cost effectiveness and efficient operation of unit
  • Initiate and communicate change in patient care delivery based on continual evaluation of progress
Requirements
  • NYS RN License required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Critical Care Nursing Exp. (preferred); Wound Care Exp (Preferred)
  • BLS Certification; ACLS certification strongly recommended
