- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify wound care needs
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective wound care delivery
- Providing Education and Training
- Develop and deliver educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Provide guidance and support to healthcare staff on wound care best practices
- Managing Wound Care Services
- Oversee wound care services, including wound vacs and dressing changes
- Monitor and report on wound care outcomes and quality metrics
- Collaborating with Interdisciplinary Teams
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless wound care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care services
- Education
- NYS RN License required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience
- Critical Care Nursing experience preferred
- Wound Care experience preferred
- Training/License
- Registered Licensed RN required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS certification strongly recommended
