Client Relationship Executive

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with major retailers, focusing on Weis and Wegmans. This role is pivotal in driving category growth and achieving our commercial objectives.

Position Overview

In this capacity, you will serve as the primary liaison for designated categories, utilizing your expertise to develop and implement tailored business strategies that align with our overarching goals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our category initiatives and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Development Organization to craft customer-specific category strategies that leverage growth drivers.
  • Launch new product initiatives and establish initial sales forecasts.
  • Design and execute promotional plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Utilize integrated planning systems to create comprehensive customer plans that reflect market dynamics.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure alignment with annual targets through effective negotiation and relationship management.
  • Engage with customers regularly to implement strategic plans and address any service or product quality concerns.
  • Identify discrepancies between customer feedback and strategic plans, proposing actionable solutions.
  • Ensure that all customer targets and key performance indicators are met, driving category growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Present category plans and implementation timelines to customers through collaborative business planning sessions.
  • Foster continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and overall sales performance.
  • Develop personal capabilities through ongoing training and collaboration with the Nestlé Retail Sales team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in account management within the consumer packaged goods sector.
  • Proven success in working with retail customers and achieving critical performance metrics.
  • A strong understanding of category dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • The ability to devise customer-specific growth strategies that drive results.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales functions and interdepartmental initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and create compelling business narratives.
  • Familiarity with pricing, promotion, assortment, and merchandising fundamentals.
  • Insight into integrated commercial planning processes and relevant market trends.
