This is a critical leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Hematopathology Section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Hematopathology Section, overseeing the clinical workload and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve section efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide academic support for clinical trials and research studies.
  • Train and mentor residents and fellows in hematopathology, ensuring they receive comprehensive education and training.
  • Contribute to the development of research and scholarly projects, leveraging the university's collaborative research environment.
Requirements
  • MD or M.D., Ph.D. degree.
  • AP or AP/CP board certification (or equivalent) and hematopathology board certification.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
