Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This position entails a standard 40-hour work week, with the expectation of additional hours as necessary.

Job Responsibilities
The Utility Technician II is responsible for the safe execution of ground and mechanical maintenance tasks at various designated locations.
- Conducts maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles at designated facilities.
- Assists in determining maintenance needs, formulating preventive maintenance plans, and analyzing equipment failure causes.
- Provides recommendations based on assessments.
- Operates mowing and construction machinery to upkeep facilities and grounds.
- Utilizes work boats for inspections and repairs of water-related structures.
- Trains team members on safe operational procedures for equipment and facilities.
- May undertake additional duties as required.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience is necessary.
- TCEQ Dam Safety Certification and Boat Safety License must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory; out-of-state candidates must secure a Texas driver's license within 90 days of employment.
