Work Schedule

This position requires a standard 40-hour work week with the potential for additional hours as necessary.

Eligibility

Job Responsibilities

The Utility Technician II is responsible for safely executing ground and mechanical maintenance tasks at various facilities.

  • Conducts maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles associated with the facilities.
  • Identifies maintenance needs, formulates preventive maintenance strategies, and analyzes equipment failures.
  • Provides recommendations based on findings.
  • Operates mowing and construction machinery to uphold facility and grounds standards.
  • Utilizes work boats for inspections and repairs at designated locations.
  • Trains team members on safe operational procedures for equipment and facilities.
  • May undertake additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • TCEQ Dam Safety Certification and Boat Safety License must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory; out-of-state candidates must secure a Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
