Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Professional to join our team at Almadan Inc. As a Direct Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct support care to individuals residing in community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision, assistance, and support to individuals receiving services from Almadan Inc. in accordance with their support plan.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all individuals receiving services.
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living skills, including personal care, community integration, meal preparation, funds management, and social skills.
  • Review and complete all required daily documentation.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks and cleaning of residence, including laundry, sweeping, mopping, dishes, and snow shoveling.
  • Provide transportation to individuals in accordance with agency policy.
  • Maintain current certification and training in CPR, First Aid, MAP, and any required site-specific trainings.
  • Perform job responsibilities in accordance with agency policy and procedure manual, as well as state regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience working with DMH/DDS individual population preferred.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
