We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Public Health Advocate to join our team at Public Health Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about public health and has experience working with diverse communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals in need, developing outreach programs, and promoting healthy behaviors within our community.
This is a full-time position based in New York City, with a salary range of $55,000 per year, plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach programs to promote healthy behaviors among vulnerable populations.
- Provide support and resources to individuals in need, including linkage to care and social services.
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to enhance the overall health and well-being of our community.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to inform program development and evaluation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School degree or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with diverse communities, particularly those affected by HIV/STIs, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
