Job Overview

New Hire Bonus: $250 for part-time, $500 for full-time positions.

Your main duty will be to utilize your expertise in hospitality and service to ensure that residents and guests are having a delightful dining experience. This includes interacting with residents, managing their meal orders, and assisting in the setup and cleanliness of dining areas to enhance the overall experience.

Culinary Service Associates are tasked with handling all food items in accordance with hygiene protocols and adhering to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations regarding safe food practices.

Available Shifts:

  • Full-Time (Days, Evenings)
  • Part-Time (Days, Evenings)
  • Rotating weekends and holidays are required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with residents in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and make recommendations.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from residents.
  • Deliver meals promptly to residents.
  • Ensure residents are satisfied with their meals and address any issues swiftly.
  • Process payments from residents and guests when necessary.
  • Input orders into the POS system for kitchen communication.
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques.
  • Conduct dining room checklists to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Set up and reset tables according to dining room procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable about residents' dietary needs and where to find this information.
  • Assist the food preparation team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, especially in senior living, is preferred.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Capable of delivering high-quality work independently.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure timely service.
