Assistant Plant Manager Job Description

Our client, a trusted family-owned company with a strong commitment to sustainability, is seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient and safe performance.
  • Collaborate with Plant Manager and General Manager to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor and manage plant expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and managing plant personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and labor force management.
  • Regularly analyze production reports and financial data.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and other computer software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work night shifts and travel occasionally.
