Overview:
Ascendo Resources is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to undertake a range of specialized administrative tasks that require a foundational understanding of Human Resources functions.

The key responsibilities of this role include maintaining accurate records, executing procedures, preparing various complex documents, and delivering administrative assistance to staff, all of which necessitate a high level of professionalism and familiarity with HR protocols and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents to ensure they meet completeness, accuracy, and submission standards, including employment applications, employee records, and verification letters.
- Assist in the processing of unemployment claims, Form I-9, personnel action forms, wage requests, and employment verification letters.
- Respond to phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide routine HR information.
- Guide employees through various human resources processes.
- Operate a range of office equipment including computers, photocopiers, faxes, scanners, webcams, and printers.
- Support additional assigned HR functions.

- Utilize exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain organization, attention to detail, and follow through on outstanding tasks.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
