Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Composite Repair Specialist to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings, Structure Repair Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's)
  • Operate in compliance with company safety practices and perform other duties as assigned
  • Work with a variety of aircraft and composite materials
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks
Requirements
  • Airframe License preferred
  • 3 years of composite repair and modification experience required
  • Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience required
  • Working knowledge of fabrication of sheet metal and composite components and assemblies, aircraft parts, and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, sketches, advance designs, specifications, and/or verbal instruction
  • Working knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, and applicable FAA documents
  • Skills in the use of computer systems, maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and the Federal Aviation Regulations
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Criminal Background Check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
