Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, Bell/Door Staff, and Guest Services teams.
  • Supervise and manage employees to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback and satisfaction results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office procedures and policies.
