Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at EV Group, Inc. as a key member of our Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, including general ledger accounts, financial reporting, month-end close, and tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Accounting Operations: Oversee the accounting department's functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, corporate, and other tax laws.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Supervision: Supervise the Accounting Department functions and assess current accounting practices and procedures, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software packages, including SAP.
  4. Personal Qualities: High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
