Crosscheck Inspection Services is seeking a highly skilled Tenant Protection Plan Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections to verify compliance with the tenant protection plan as mandated by the NYC Department of Buildings.
Responsibilities- Inspect and Verify Compliance: Perform special inspections in accordance with the requirements outlined in Chapter 1 of Title 28 of the Administrative Code and Section of the NYC Building Code.
- Monitor Construction Operations: Conduct periodic inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with the tenant protection plan throughout the course of construction, alteration, or partial demolition operations.
- Document and Report: Document and report conditions prior to work commencement, at the start of construction, and on a weekly basis during construction or demolition.
- Verify Corrective Actions: Verify corrective actions for any tenant protection plan violations issued.
- Monitor Changes: Monitor changes in construction or demolition operations that may require adjustments to methods of protection.
- Record Inspections: Record all inspections performed and indicate compliance with the tenant protection plan.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in special inspections, preferably in the field of tenant protection plan compliance.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of NYC Building Codes, particularly Sections and
- Familiarity: Familiarity with the requirements of the NYC Department of Buildings pertaining to tenant protection plan special inspections.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively document and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications or licenses, such as NYC Special Inspector certifications, are highly desirable.
