About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Protection Specialist to join our team at Ross Stores. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible presence at store entrances and exits to deter theft and maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitor sales floor activity to identify potential theft indicators and address them promptly.
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention directives and minimize operational shortage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store teams to promote a culture of safety and security.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
  • One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
  • One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
  • Active Security Guard License preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with store teams.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
