Job Summary

We are currently hiring full-time Field and Shop Forklift Technicians to join our team. As a Field Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Toyota and other makes of lift-trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment. You will also conduct preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products Atlas sells and services.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on customer forklifts to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products Atlas sells and services to provide expert advice and support to customers
  • Manage time and attendance to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries
  • A willingness to learn and be trained to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • The ability to manage time and attendance to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • This position requires standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
