The Clinic Medical Assistant plays a vital role in providing direct or indirect care to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care.
Responsibilities include general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities, and patient/family education.
What You Will Need
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical, or Active LPN or RN license
- CPR provider certification
