Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general patient care, assistance with procedures, and documentation of activities
  • Deliver patient and family education
  • Utilize established principles and ethical standards, as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess
Requirements
  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current certification/license from one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical, or Active LPN or RN license in the state of employment
  • CPR provider certification
