At Select Physical Therapy, we strive to provide our patients with an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive at our facility.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient interactions and the administrative aspects of our practice.

Your station at the front desk will serve as a vital point for patient advocacy, where you will engage with individuals through various communication channels, oversee patient payments, and navigate multiple software systems.

Your contributions can significantly enhance each patient's care journey, even before they enter the treatment area.

Starting at $16/hour (Pending experience)

Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, patient-focused, excellent communicators, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.

In this role, typical responsibilities include:
Welcoming new and returning patients as they arrive, registering new patients, and providing information about their visit

Scheduling patient appointments in person or via phone

Maintaining regular communication with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams

Collecting co-pays from patients, managing payer approvals, and conducting insurance authorizations and verifications

Providing patients with essential information regarding their upcoming appointments during checkout

Responding to inquiries from patients, providers, and colleagues


Qualifications:

Minimum

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required

Experience in Insurance Verification

1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred

Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare

1 Year of Scheduling Experience

Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a workday

Manual dexterity to enable typing (including 10-key) throughout a workday

Ability to lift up to 25lbs safely from ground to waist using proper body mechanics

Ability to carry office supplies up to 10lbs

Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize individuals, and comprehend written instructions

Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and provide directions
