Talent Seed is seeking a Vice President of Product Development for a leading technology organization. This pivotal role is focused on overseeing the product vision, strategy, and team to spearhead growth and innovation.

The successful candidate will be a thought leader, responsible for innovating on behalf of clients, enhancing the business's competitive edge by advancing the value proposition in the application and business landscape, and facilitating the next phase of product-led expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and expand beyond existing offerings by advancing the value proposition in the business and application sectors to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in achieving growth.
  • Foster a culture of product enthusiasm, customer focus, and a proactive approach that distinguishes successful outcomes.
  • Scale the product organization to support a multi-product strategy, create dedicated teams, and achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences that empower numerous SMBs globally.
  • Utilize product analytics and information pipelines to continuously enhance customer experiences and identify new business opportunities.
  • Implement discipline in overall planning, prioritization, feature releases, and the launch of new products.

Qualifications:

  • Over 12 years of experience in leading and managing product functions within a large-scale consumer application or SaaS environment.
  • Extensive experience serving small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in driving the growth of subscription-based software through ongoing user-focused product innovation.
  • Highly skilled in guiding product direction through data-driven insights and user research.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and collaborating effectively with engineering and UX teams.
  • A player-coach leadership style with a history of nurturing product management talent.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and cultivate effective working relationships across a diverse startup environment.
