Job Title: Plant Worker

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plant Worker to join our team at eTeam. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of waste materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
  • Stage waste on the conveyor system or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system.
  • Scan waste into the Biotrack system for accurate recordkeeping.
  • Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing.
  • Decontaminate vehicles and cargo-carrying portions, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, addressing any housekeeping issues promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant supervisors.
Requirements:
  • One year of related experience or training, demonstrating strong communication skills and a safe working attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Knowledge of barcode scanning and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, such as a forklift.
