About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front of House Associate to join our team at DoorDash. Key Responsibilities

**Facility Management**

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the shared-use kitchen, ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered to our delivery drivers with 100% accuracy.
  • Oversee the receipt and management of supplier deliveries and inventory.
  • Personally clean and organize shared spaces daily, including the pick-up area, office, bathrooms, and breakroom.
  • Provide basic maintenance and repairs to the facility as needed to ensure continuous operations.

**Merchant Support**

  • Work closely with our support agents to provide technical assistance to our merchants, including IT, phones, tablets, kitchen equipment, and other technical issues.

**Food Safety**

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and monitor food safety protocols.
  • Implement safe food handling procedures and manage the shared storage areas of the facility.

**Order Fulfillment**

  • Assist merchants with expediting completed orders to the pick-up area and to our Dashers.
  • Responsible for fulfilling front-of-house orders and maintaining associated prep areas.
  • Execute occasional DoorDash Kitchen tests of products and services.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or logistics/fulfillment industries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

**Requirements**

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, other associates, hourly employees, and Dashers.
  • Basic skills to make emergency repairs and conduct maintenance on the facility with basic tools provided.
  • Strong organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints with particular attention to detail and quality of service.

**Nice to Have**

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, G Suite, Salesforce, and Point-of-Sale Software.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish.
