We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer I to join our team at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. As a Cardiac Sonographer I, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.
Responsibilities:- Perform cardiac ultrasound studies to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions
- Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in cardiac ultrasound imaging
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ARDMS or CCI registration or registry eligibility
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatrics experience for Pediatric Echocardiography and non-academic setting
- TEE experience for non-academic setting
