Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer III to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies to aid in the diagnosis of cardiac disease. Your expertise will also be utilized to coach and mentor staff members to continually improve staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound studies to aid in the diagnosis of cardiac disease
  • Coach and mentor staff members to improve staff development
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in echocardiography and diagnostic imaging
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal 2-4 year Echocardiography Program or a minimum of 5 years echocardiography experience
  • ARDMS or CCI registry in Adult Echocardiography required
  • ARDMS or CCI registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
