Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while advocating for the needs of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients across the healthcare continuum.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of professional nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and current research in nursing care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Vermont.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Unit-specific certifications as required by the department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related nursing experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
This position requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
