Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dixie Electric, Plumbing, & Air. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our HVAC systems, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of our HVAC systems.
  • Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential and commercial customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Travel and Scheduling: Travel to job sites in our service area, working with our dispatch team to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Emergency Response: Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to respond to emergency service requests from our customers.
  • Training and Development: Participate in company-provided training opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest industry technologies and best practices.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services to customers, including newer system installations, service contracts, and additional services.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A current EPA certification and state registration are required. Nate certification and state certification are a plus.
  • Education: Completion of an accredited HVAC program is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of residential HVAC experience with a strong focus on customer service is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower or devices, and work from heights.
  • Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and skills for HVAC installation, maintenance, repair of systems, and equipment.
  • Personal Qualities: Passion for helping others, presenting a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times.
