We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team at Magnolia Manor Senior Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Plumbing: Perform basic plumbing repairs, including but not limited to: repairing and installing toilets, water fountains, sprinklers, sewer lines, sinks, faucets, sink drains, and water heaters.
- Electrical: Conduct basic electrical repairs, such as but not limited to: working on lights, receptacles, replacing bulbs, and replacing ballasts.
- Carpentry: Perform basic carpentry repairs, including but not limited to: installation, repair of drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, shelving, and painting.
- HVAC: Perform basic HVAC repairs, such as but not limited to: changing filters, cleaning drains, and assisting in removing or installing PTAC units.
- Facilities Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workplace, including but not limited to: moving materials, storing materials, debris removal, and floor cleaning as needed.
- Equipment Movement: Assist in moving company equipment, including but not limited to: furniture, desks, office supplies, packages, and facility items.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- One to five years of maintenance experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory, mechanics of plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 10 feet.
