About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team at Magnolia Manor Senior Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plumbing: Perform basic plumbing repairs, including but not limited to: repairing and installing toilets, water fountains, sprinklers, sewer lines, sinks, faucets, sink drains, and water heaters.
  2. Electrical: Conduct basic electrical repairs, such as but not limited to: working on lights, receptacles, replacing bulbs, and replacing ballasts.
  3. Carpentry: Perform basic carpentry repairs, including but not limited to: installation, repair of drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, shelving, and painting.
  4. HVAC: Perform basic HVAC repairs, such as but not limited to: changing filters, cleaning drains, and assisting in removing or installing PTAC units.
  5. Facilities Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workplace, including but not limited to: moving materials, storing materials, debris removal, and floor cleaning as needed.
  6. Equipment Movement: Assist in moving company equipment, including but not limited to: furniture, desks, office supplies, packages, and facility items.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
  1. One to five years of maintenance experience.
  2. Basic understanding of electrical theory, mechanics of plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
  3. Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 10 feet.
