As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient experience and the operational aspects of our facility.

Your front desk responsibilities will include acting as a patient advocate, engaging with individuals through various communication channels, overseeing patient payments, and navigating multiple software systems.

Your contributions will significantly enhance each patient's care journey, even before they enter the treatment area.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday (8am to 7pm) and Tuesday/Thursday (8am to 1pm)

Compensation:
Starting at $17/hour (Dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who are flexible, patient-focused, exceptional communicators, detail-oriented, and collaborative team members.

In this role, your typical duties will include:
Welcoming new and returning patients upon arrival, registering new patients, and providing information about their visit
Coordinating patient appointments in person or via phone
Maintaining regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams
Collecting co-pays from patients, managing payer approvals, and conducting insurance authorizations and verifications
Providing patients with relevant information regarding their next appointment as they check out
Addressing inquiries from patients, providers, and colleagues

Qualifications:
Minimum
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED

Physical Demands:
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday
Manual dexterity sufficient for typing (including 10-key) throughout the workday
Capability to lift up to 25lbs safely from ground to waist using proper techniques
Ability to carry office supplies weighing up to 10lbs
Visual acuity (near and distant) necessary for maintaining accurate records, recognizing individuals, and comprehending written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively to understand and provide directions
