Job Title: Vertical Account Executive - Food Industry

At Veritiv, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vertical Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for targeting, acquiring, and closing large revenue opportunities at complex Corporate Accounts within the Food Production vertical in the Midwest Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target key decision makers and close deals
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounts Leadership to set sales goals and quotas
  • Communicate with clients to gather information about project goals, budgets, and outcomes
  • Partner with the Corporate Account Manager to close opportunities and ensure a smooth transition
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential Corporate Account opportunities
Requirements:
  • 10 years of proven business development and/or packaging experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Product and market knowledge
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and analysis
