Safety Manager Job Description

CORE Safety Group is a leading provider of safety management and loss control consulting services. We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Safety Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating safety programs across various regions. This role requires strong technical expertise in safety, health, and environmental compliance, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap analyses to identify client safety program needs and develop effective solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Perform regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Write project-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses
  • Oversee accident reporting and investigation processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, construction management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
  • OSHA 500 certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards and General Industry Standards
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Up to 25% travel required
