Job Title: ILS Life Skills Coach

As an ILS Life Skills Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting and teaching functional life skills to our clients, helping them to grow in their independence and live happy, healthy lives in the environment of their choice.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the ILS Program Manager, you will work with adults with disabilities to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence and self-reliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and teaching functional life skills, such as advocacy, basic cooking, maintaining a home, managing medical appointments, accessing community resources, and accessing transportation.
  • Managing a caseload of clients and collaborating with families, service coordinators, and the individual's circle of support.
  • Writing progress reports quarterly for each client, as well as coordinating meetings with the local Regional Center and the client's support team.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities, preferably in a coaching or support role.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
