Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Salaried RN Full Time. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule admissions/start of care visits with clients and their families
- Perform client intake assessments and document findings
- Utilize Oasis to complete and document client start of care
- Submit required documentation for prior authorization of client services
- Document verbal orders for admissions/start of care through timely communication with clients' physicians and other caregivers
- Support agency audits and other visits as needed
- Provide care in patients' homes using a variety of skills, including phone triage, patient education, observation/assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of application
- Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medicare skilled nursing experience
- Basic understanding of Oasis
- ICD 9/10 knowledge
- 1-year RN experience in a healthcare setting
