Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the lending process:
    1. Prepare credit requests by ensuring all documentation meets policy and regulatory standards.
    2. Define collateral and other necessary details for documentation, coordinating with external parties as required.
    3. Collaborate with approved legal counsel for transactions requiring external preparation.
    4. Facilitate the closing process by ensuring all due diligence and closing conditions are met.
    5. Disburse loan funds and manage fee processing in accordance with executed agreements.
    6. Complete the final steps of loan origination to prepare for system entry.
    7. Ensure timely processing of withdrawn or declined applications.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service:
    1. Respond to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to bank policies and regulations.
    2. Resolve customer issues efficiently, utilizing resources to meet client needs.
    3. Process customer transaction requests promptly.
  3. Support portfolio management:
    1. Work closely with the commercial banking team to identify and address financial, loan, and collateral exceptions.
    2. Proactively manage delinquent and maturing loans to ensure timely resolution.
    3. Address third-party insurance issues promptly to prevent forced placement of insurance.
    4. Assist in completing lien perfection and collateral release processes.
    5. Conduct regular check-ins with the commercial banking team to ensure alignment.
    6. Utilize reporting tools for accurate progress tracking.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulations:
    1. Address compliance monitoring requirements promptly (e.g., Regulation B, HMDA).
    2. Maintain compliance of all loan files with applicable regulations (e.g., Know Your Customer, OFAC).
    3. Stay updated on policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
