Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise events and activities at the East Boston YMCA, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, including scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director/CEO to develop and implement strategies for improving facility operations and member satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all YMCA safety and member service standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory or customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, making sound decisions and taking initiative as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to stay calm and composed in stressful situations, maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional service.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (obtained after hire).
