- Collaboration: Work closely with technical personnel to maintain a safe working environment and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations while handling chemical and pharmaceutical substances.
- Data Processing: Analyze data generated from advanced instrumentation, including Gas Chromatography (GC) and Liquid Chromatography (LC) systems.
- Team Contribution: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance project ideas and improve work processes.
- Method Development: Create and refine analytical methodologies while ensuring the proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Documentation: Emphasize the importance of accurate record-keeping and documentation practices.
- Proposal Preparation: Draft proposals, safety guidelines, and testing plans as required.
- Chemical Testing: Conduct various chemical analyses to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required.
- Experience in a laboratory environment, particularly with chromatography and other analytical methods.
- Strong understanding of organic synthesis, extraction techniques, and preparation of analytical standards.
- Commitment to safety protocols and ongoing training.
- Excellent report writing and data analysis skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
