Job Summary

Quantum Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Stock Clerk to join our team. As a Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of warehousing duties, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. You will also support wholesale supply chain functions, such as receiving and processing incoming assets, storage, inventory, packing, packaging, transportation, repair cycle support, cargo movement/planning, and demilitarization of equipment/parts prior to disposal action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify materials or merchandise against receiving documents
  • Receive, store, stack, or palletize materials, and remove material from storage and prepares it for shipping
  • Support wholesale supply chain functions, including receiving and processing incoming assets, storage, inventory, packing, packaging, transportation, repair cycle support, cargo movement/planning, and demilitarization of equipment/parts prior to disposal action
  • Locate and move materials and parts between work areas of the plant to expedite the processing of goods according to predetermined schedules and priorities
  • Keep related records and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders
  • Work with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to receive, issue, and store class II, IV, and IX repair parts
  • Locate information on issue documents (MRO) and compare information on documents with parts being pulled or put-a-ways
  • Must know the procedures for processing and finalizing documentation on incoming shipments
  • Receive items from CRP, inspect objects, and verify the national stock number, nomenclature, quantity, and process in the G-Army system
  • Sign documents confirming receipt of items
  • Receive incoming shipments and assist in unloading vehicles at the loading ramp
  • Inspect for damages, check items received against shipping documents, and sign receipts as appropriate
  • Participate in periodic and special inventories
  • Customer services, answering telephones, providing advice, guidance, and information as appropriate
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (forklifts) 2,000 – 6,000lbs
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS) before, during, and after use of forklifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Two (2) years or more experience in supply chain or logistical operations
  • Able to attain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • U.S. Citizen
  • GCSS-Army experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Familiar with the Department of the Army Inventory Management System
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and the use of Protected Personal Equipment and OSHA standards
