Dietitian Role for Senior Living Communities



Crandall Corporate Dietitians is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to provide consulting services to Assisted Living Communities. As a dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with senior living communities to enhance the resident's food and nutrition experience.



This involves auditing sanitation, meal service, staff development, and completing assessments on residents that have nutritional concerns. You will become a key member of the dietary team and play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality food and nutrition services for our residents.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations
  • Quality and regulatory assurance review/audits of Food/Nutrition Services, sanitation, food storage, preparation, and dining services according to national standards
  • Clinical Charting (if required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk charting
  • Nutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance
  • Implementation of the plan of corrections

Requirements


  • Bachelors Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and provide annual verification
  • State Dietary License if required by state
  • Maintain current licensure as required by State law
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or medical/religious exemption per state/corporation guidelines
  • Current TB Test
  • Must carry liability insurance as a contractor
